 用迷你倉的慳錢方法

 

當經濟危機襲擊全球時,存錢成為許多人渡過危機的決定性一步。許多香港人顯然地省去不必要的開支,少出外吃飯,及外出旅遊。這此都是必要的行動。但當失業或者沒有收入時,我們又可以做些什麼呢?

 

香港的空間是非常昂貴的,往往交租就要花費一部分的工資。有效地租用儲物迷你倉可以保證使用更少的空間及支付便宜的倉租。如下幾點可供參考。

 

1)搬入更小的住宅,將不必要的物品存放在儲物貨倉內:普通的住宅16元每呎。一般的迷你儲物倉則是11元每呎,可將物品堆放在9呎的倉內。居住800住宅,可以將CD、書及冬季衣物存放在50呎的迷你倉內,就可租用600呎的住宅

 

省錢:200*16元(住宅騰出的空間)-50*11元(儲物倉)=2650

 

 

2)搬入更小的辦公室,將所有文件存放在貨倉內:調查顯示3成以上的辦公空間用於擺放少用的文檔。為何須繳付辦公室的租金來擺放少用但必要的文檔?大部分儲物貨倉公司提供運輸及送回服務,送回只須1-2日的時間。顯然租用小型辦公室比租用每呎花費80元的甲級寫字樓便宜。

例如:

省錢:200*80元(辦公室騰出的空間)-50*11=15451

 

3)退租店舖開設網上商店:如果沒有固定的客源,為何不選擇開設網上商店?現在很多人加入建立網上虛擬商店的行列。虛擬商痁無分企業大小,無須實在的店鋪,好網站自然可吸引大公司的視線。當然貨物可以存放在私人儲物倉內。店鋪租金在18元每呎至5000元每間之間,租用儲物貨倉顯然可省去很多花費。

 

 

4)退租住酒店:你是否經常出外旅遊?並且很少時間留在香港?如果是這樣的話,有可能須支付額外的房租。不必租用住宅,省錢的方法就是租用迷你儲物擺放必要的物品。此外,你可租用2個不同地點的儲物倉,一個離辦公地址近的貴價儲物倉,另一個是擺放不常用物品的便宜儲物倉。由於經濟低迷,大部分酒店推出低價住宿,特別是針對常住客戶。儲物貨倉及酒店住宿是旅行家在香港的不錯選擇。

 

5)出租多出的住房:在如此時勢下,每個人想盡辦法省錢。因此,為何不考慮將暫沒有人住或使用的臥室及辦公室出租呢?等等,還有很多有價值的家私及物品,應該如何處理呢?租用一個便宜的迷你倉,出租空出的臥室給朋友或家人又是一筆收入。

比如:

一間臥室租2500元每月

一間臥室的雜物=30呎迷你倉,大約330元每月

收入:2170元每月

 

6)沒有行李?租用信箱服務:很多移民離開香港,前往外國尋找機遇。但是你是否需要留下聯繫地址,以防其他人寄信或聯繫你?租用信箱服務後,你可以不必動身前往香港就可收到銀行單、發票、賬單及信件。


 

7)買入大量平貨已慳錢很多公司推出結業特賣或者清貨特賣,往往這些貨物的打折幅度大。但如何儲存這些貨品?租用貨倉。通常30呎的貨倉花費330元每月,並可擺放40箱的貨物。從批發及打折所省下的錢可抵消貨倉的租金,6個月就可將存放的貨物銷售一空。

比如:

6個月的貨倉租金:1980元(330元每月)

價值20000元的貨品打6折:8000元(洗髮水,罐頭等)

省錢:6020

 

 

在這個預測將會持續幾長時間的艱難時勢下,我希望以上的方法可以幫助到人們省錢。希望做到防範於未然。

特許經營迷你倉


儲存及搬屋運輸成為最具利潤的行業,越來越多的公司開始花錢投資在這行。沒有人願意分一杯羹,但可以肯定的是,如果企業沒有足夠大的營運空間,就不會吸引顧客。重申一點就是好難有公司靠自身的資力做到開展全國業務。因此,泛生出連鎖。像其他連鎖一樣,連鎖公司必須遵守總公司的規條.

顯然,本地企業控制大部分的份額,而大型的外來企業難以在這行站得住腳。實際上4/5的市場由本地企業所得。因此,大型外來企業難以在全國獨自擴大儲物倉業務,同時做到降低成本與本地企業競爭。解決方法就是特許經營。特許經營在這行是常見的。對大型企業來說,更有利潤的不僅是儲物倉的特許經營,而是儲存運輸。搬遷運輸是一門大生意。人們願意租用全國聯網的搬運公司。對於經營商,可以打響知名度,而對於代理商,是賺錢的另一門生意。對與兩者都是有利可圖。計劃是否可行在於經營商的決定,這意味差代理商不須處理任何頭痛的問題,並能確保計劃的正確地執行。

慳錢方法 with Mini Storage by SC Storage


As these economic times hit hard in Hong Kong as well as the rest of the World....saving money is a critical step for most people in order to pass through this crisis. People in Hong Kong have noticeably spend less on non essential items, cut going out for dinners and drinks, as well as less holiday trips. Why pay for high office rent when these documents are rarely used (but needed). Most Storage companies provide delivery and retrieval services so that documents can be retrieved within 1-2days. The savings of moving into a smaller office is even more apparent when you rent a grade A office that cost 80hkd/sq ft+
Here is a an example:
Savings: 200sq ft X 80 (office size saving) - 50 X 11hkd=550 (storage)
=$15450
3)Moving your store online: if your current business have a pool of stable and loyal customer, why not move your store online, and work from the storage? Many people are joining the online revolution by having a virtual store on line. Since a virtual store doesn't discriminate a big company from a small company.....your physical store front is not neccessary and a good website can outwin any big company's website. Of course the inventory can be stored in storage. The average store rent ranges from 18hkd/sq ft to 5000+hkd/sq ft, so the savings could be very big.

4)Live out of your suitcase: Do u travel a lot, and seldomly stay in Hong Kong? If so you may be paying for spaces that you are not effectively using. By not renting the apartment and putting your essential stuff in storage will greatly incur saving for yourself. Furthermore, you can rent 2 different location of storage, 1 more expensive storage that is closer to your office or place of work, the other cheaper one for storing stuff that you seldomly uses. Due to the current economic downturn, most hotels are offering very attractive rates, especially for frequent customers. Storing and living from the hotel makes a great alternative for travellers in this busy hub like Hong Kong.

5)Rent out your Extra Room: In this current bad times, everyone is trying to save money, why not rent out that extra bedroom or office room that nobody is using? Wait, there are many furnitures and stuff there that have monetary and setimental values!! What to do? By using a cheaper storage, you can earn more income from renting that extra room to a friend or family even after you store your goods in the cheaper storage.
Example: 1 bedroom charge 2500hkd/mth
1 bedroom of stuff= 30sq ft storage @ 330hkd/mth
Income: 2170hkd/mth!!

6)Non belongings?, just rent a mailbox: Many expats we've come across is leaving Hong Kong, and heading to other places in search for opportunities, but should you leave a formal address in Hong Kong for contact, or someone wants to send something to you? Renting a mailbox from a mini storage company cost as low as 60hkd/mth and you can get bank statements, invoices, bills, letters delivered to you, saving lots of hassle of not having a presence in this city.

7)Buy in Bulk, Save Money: many companies are offering 'going out of business sales' or 'clearance sale' to get cash for their inventory, and the discount on these goods are big. But where to store all these durable goods even if the prices are good. The answer is storage. A typical 30sq ft storage room cost 330hkd/mth, and can store 40 cartons of goods plus. The saving you can get by buying in bulk and in discount can easily outweight the cost of the storage, provided the goods will be used up within 6 mths.
Example:
Cost of storage for 6mth: 1980$ (@330/mth)
40% discount on $20000 worth of durable goods: 8000$ (shampoo, can food, etc)
Savings: $6020

I hope the above ideas can help people to start thinking of alternative ways to save money in this tough enviroments, which many people predict will last much longer than the average recesion. So its pay to save money and take precaution.
